NOTE: On all the condensers you must be extremely careful when removing the hoses. When you remove the Upper and Lower AC hoses to the condenser you will destroy the condenser threads because the nut on the AC hoses are steel and the condenser threads are Aluminum or alloy. This is quite common and this will cause you to have to replace the hoses (upper and lower). In some cases you may be able to clean out the lower hose threads to remove any aluminum that is in the threads PRIOR to installing the OLD hose on the new condenser. MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS PRIOR TO INSTALLING THE HOSE. WE cannot replace a condenser under warranty if you make this mistake!!!

NOTE: Receiver drier failures can be identified by removing the lines and noting that a sand like substance is throughout the system. This is an indication that the desiccant bag has come apart.
NOTE: On some of the 90-91 models a switch must also be purchased to fill a hole in the condenser for all new condensers even if you car did not come equipped with one. This is NOT a running change for the aftermarket condensers. This is a running change that Saab decided to do in superseding all of the condensers to the later model condensers. On the 90-93 condensers came with the switch and some did not. When purchasing a new condenser the switch (part number 4383188) must be purchased as well to fill the hole even if the switch cannot be used.
