NOTE: Cabin fan failures are fairly common. Fan failures can often be identified by noticing that the interior fan does not blow. This can be checked by testing to see if voltage & Ground exist to the cabin fan but it will not turn on. Fan noise when turning right indicates clogged evaporator housing drains (water hitting the fan blades). Drain clogs can often be identified by noting a musty smell when turning on the Cabin fan. This is an indication that the drains are possibly full of leaves, needles or trash and the materials have begun to decay.
NOTE: In most cases the flaps will get broke when attempting to do the heater core because of the angle at which the fan housing is removed from the false bulk head.
NOTE: You might want to consider replacing your heater core while accessing the cabin fan motor. You can access both at the same time making it more cost effective in the long run. You may want to consider replacing the KIT instead of the individual core because the small adapters for the hoses are now obsolete and only come in the kit.
