| NOTE: The Thermo fan switch is located in the passenger side of the radiator. Thermo fan switch failures can often be identified by noticing that the cooling fan does not come on or comes on late. NOTE # 1: The 82 Degree Thermo fan switch can be substituted for the later model 2 wire and 3 switch but wire modifications will have to be performed. For the 2 wire systems you will simply have to add connectors. On the 3 wire systems the high speed fan wire must be eliminated. Many people prefer this option as the 82 degree switch will allow the cooling fans to operate at a lower temperature. NOTE # 2: This is a substitute switch for the 3 wire 9000 thermofanswitch. The reason for substituting this switch is because it will cause the cooling fan to come on at a lower engine coolant temperature than the (OES) Switch. You should also note the you must install wiring connectors on the switch by using the wiring from the old switch. The terminals will be marked +, 1 & 2. The Black wire goes to +, the Blue wire goes to Pin # 1 & the Blue wire with a white stripe goes to Pin 2 |

| NOTE: The water pumps do NOT come with the back housing which attaches to the adapter kits. When buying the OES pump you would want to buy the adapter kit as well because it is very easy to remove once the OES pump is removed. The Aft version pump also only comes with the front half which does not include the back half. |
