NOTE: Brake light switch failures often occur because the small tabs on the switches break off. Replacement of the switch is the only repair
NOTE: Brake light switch failures can often be identified by noting that the brake lights stay on. Check the switch bracket to make sure it is not bent. Most of the time the ears off the switch break
NOTE: Cabin control knob failures are often the result of a binding heater box. You can replace the knob but you may eventually have to do something with the heater box as well. Issues exist with the box which creates the knob problem. Only the right shaft can be replaced. If the other side is messed up as well you must replace 5174685 depending on the car you have
NOTE: Knob failures are common but generally indicate that the vent housing is in a bind causing them to fail. The knobs are fairly inexpensive in comparison to replacing the housing so most people choose to replace the knobs
NOTE: Horn button failure can be identified by noting that one or both of the buttons pull up are appear loose on one side. The buttons come with the backing plate as well!
NOTE: The original Mirror switch had the wiring harness attached to it from the factory but the replacement switch does not have the wiring attached. YOU must also purchase the wiring harness as well for the replacement!
