NOTE: The supply & return valves are basically impossible to remove without breaking. The return valve is only available in the complete fuel line replacement. We actually offer a small return line that you can remove the valve out of and reuse. This is the most affordable option as some of the long lines are quite expensive and require a great deal of labor to install. The newer style valves that Saab now offers are about 3/8 inch in diameter verses the original valve diameter of 1/4 inch. This makes the supply valve even more difficult to install. The purpose of the larger valve is prevent breaking. The purpose of this replacement line is for the VALVE ONLY. The line may not be correct for your car as Saab has discontinued many of them.

NOTE: Fuel pumps fail by either quiting completely or by causing the car to quit and then cranking right back up
NOTE: The easiest way to replace the Fuel pump is to replace the complete assembly (5328885) but it is also the most costly. The most economical way is to replace only the insert but requires a bit more work. If you are attempting to replace the insert only then you MUST determine which insert is in the existing pump assembly that you have in the car by looking at the photos of 8822017A and B. You will notice that there are twodifferent style barbs at the top. You must replace your existing insert with the one that is just like it from the photos above.
