| STEP 1 | Remove the engine cover upper |
| STEP 2 | use a screw driver to uplug the connector for the Atmospheric pressure sensor and the MAP Sensor and move them aside |
| STEP 3 | Remove the oil filter cover (using tool number 8396129 4 cylinder cars) |
| STEP 4 | Raise the car and put a catch can under where the oil will leak |
| STEP 5 | Remove the drain plug to drain |
| STEP 6 | Refit drain plug and new drain washer if needed. Torque plug to 18 ft lb of torque |
| STEP 7 | Lower the car and replace the filter insert and Oring (lubricate the oring) |
| STEP 8 | Filter the filter cover and tighten to 18 ft lb |
| STEP 9 | Plug the sensors back in and reposition |
| STEP 10 | Fill with approximate 4.5 quarts of oil. Start and recheck the oil level. Top off as needed after running for 45 seconds. |
| STEP 11 | Refit the upper engine cover. |
