OIL CHANGE PROCEDURE

Oil Change Proceedure

Step 1 Remove the top engine cover.
Step 2 Unplug the connector for the atmospheric pressure sensor and manifold absolute pressure sensor.
Step 3 Remove the oil filter cover
Step 4 Raise the car and place an oil container underneath the vehicle.
Step 5 Remove the drain plug to drain the engine oil.
Step 6 Install the oil drain plug and Torque drain plug to 25 Nm (18 ft lbs).
Step 7 Lower the car, remove the cover and the oil filter as well as the O-ring on the cover.
Step 8 Install a new oil filter and O-ring to the cover, lubricate the O-ring with engine oil.
Step 9 Install the filter cover and torque to 25 Nm (18 ft lbs).
Step 10 Plug in the pressure sensor connectors.
Step 11 Fill with recommended engine oil.
Step 12 Start the engine and let it run for 30 seconds before turning it off.
Step 13 Check the oil level after 3-5 minutes using the dipstick. Top off oil as necessary.
Step 14 Install the engine cover.
