 | Fuel is extremely flammable and may cause skin irritation when exposed! |
| STEP 1 | Remove the fuel tank |
| STEP 2 | Remove the fuel pump screw ring (you can use factory tool 8394462)

| STEP 3 | Remove the pump from the top of the tank and turn it 80 degrees to get it out of its sitting position in the tank |
| STEP 4 | Replace the pump with a new pump and put a new oring (coated by vaseline) |
| STEP 5 | Be sure to aligne the marks on the tank and the top of the pump together during the installation of the pump and tighten the rin to 55 foot lb of torque |
