Yes, You can disconnect the alarm system on the 9000 series! On the early model cars (1992 & earlier) You disconnect the control module and bypass the starter interlock by connecting several wires together. On the Newer 9000 models the same thing can be done or the alarm system can be disarmed by using TECH 2 (a dealer tool)!
