REAR WHEEL HUB REMOVAL

[93 98-03]

Rear Wheel Hub/bearing removal
STEP 1 Lift up the car & remove the rear wheel
STEP 2 Remove the caliper retaining spring
STEP 3 Remove the allen bolt covers that hold the caliper on & remove the bolts
STEP 4 Suspend the caliper with the brake pipe hook. Be careful not to damage the line
STEP 5 Make sure the brake pipe is not damaged
STEP 6 Remove the outer brake pad
STEP 7 Remove the brake caliper holder
STEP 8 Remove the brake disc
STEP 9 Remove the wheel sensor connector
STEP 10 Remove the hub and the brake shield
STEP 11 Refit in Reverse Tightening torque for new nut is 50 Nm +300 (40 ft lb +30 degrees) & 7 ft lb for the sensor
