BELT TENSIONER REMOVAL & INSTALLATION 4 CYLINDER

Remove Air Cleaner on Turbo cars
Remove Air Cleaner and intake hose on Non-Turbo cars
Loosen belt tensioner using a T handle or similar and remove the belt. Be careful not to over-run the tensioner and breaking it
Remove the 8 mm allen key in the tensioner that secures it and remove the tenisoner
Re-fit in reverse and tighten to 33 foot lb of torque
You can secure the tensioner into one position by putting a 3 mm drill bit or similar in the tensioner securing hole
Refit the belt and remove the bit to provide tension on the belt.
Tightening torque: 45 Nm (33 Ibf ft)
