| STEP 1 | Apply tape around the emblem to protect the paint. Carefully use a small, flat spackle to remove the emblem by sliding it behind the emblem to separate the double sided tape. |
| STEP 2 | To remove the excess tape, heat the area up using a hair dryer and use your fingers to remove it. You can also use a light alcohol to remove the glue and prep the area for the new emblem. |
| STEP 3 | The emblem should be around 85 degrees before you apply it to the car so it will stick properly. |
| STEP 4 | Clean the surface area where the emblem will be applied and remove the protective tape on the back of the emblem, but keep the emblem in the mounting frame. |
| STEP 5 | Position the emblem on the trunk where the old one was removed. Make sure its straight, if you need to measure lines. |
| STEP 6 | Press the emblem down and remove the mounting frame. |
